Renaissance America has named Tom Dimmer director of national individual sales.

OKEMOS, Mich. [Feb. 10, 2009] -- Renaissance America has named Tom Dimmer director of national individual sales. In this role he is responsible for the sales and development of individual dental programs and products, including Renaissance Dental Extend, an exclusive individually-billed plan that groups can make available to their retirees.

Dimmer is a 21-year veteran of sales and service, and has created pioneering dental benefit programs for a variety of markets. In addition to selling group benefits to some of the Midwest’s largest employers, Dimmer coordinated benefits for more than 170,000 retirees. He has also been instrumental in developing state-funded programs that provide dental care access for low-income populations.

Dimmer received his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Montana and returns to the School of Business Administration as a guest lecturer. Earlier this year Employee Benefit Advisor magazine named Dimmer one of the best group dental reps in the United States.

"Tom has a proven track record of developing and executing innovative dental benefit solutions," said John-Michael Hyden, director of Renaissance administration. "In his new role, Tom can apply these skills to the development of cost-effective solutions for the emerging retiree market."
